I'm not going into too much detail on the plot, but the history and layout of the island is unveiled as the player progresses through the story, with there being a lot of side story unlocked as the player collects various items whilst running through each open zone. It is also revealed that Knuckles was also trapped in CyberSpace thanks to the power of Angel Island. Suddenly, Sonic spawns on the island to face his new foe, Sage a cute anime girl who believes that Sonic is the bad guy. He has gained some new powers and abilities, but his friends are trapped and are needing to be saved. During this exploration, Sonic and friends get sucked into cyberspace only for Sonic, our hero to escape. There is a mystery here and the gang go to discover what that mystery is. Sonic, Tails and Amy are exploring the Starfall islands since the Chaos Emeralds seems attracted to them. It has its issues of course, but the playability factor and how fun it is, determines the score of this modern video game gem. ![]() The early trailers looked bland, but the final product really impresses with the developers taking on feedback from the players to improve the game even further. Sonic Frontiers has had some of the biggest hype for a Sonic game that has ever been released. ![]()
